    Hi everyone!
I'm translating an American legal document into Spanish (from Spain, not American Spanish, since every country has its own legal system). This is the whole title:

New York Criminal Procedure Law Section 430.20 - Commitment Of Defendant.

And this is my try. I have no idea how to translate Commitment Of Defendant though...

Sección 430.20 de la Ley de Enjuiciamiento Criminal de Nueva York - ¿Reclusión del acusado?

    Thanks in advance!

Hola, Criminal Procedure Law creo que es: Ley Procesal Penal y tu consulta podría ser encarcelamiento del acusado.

§ 430.20 Commitment of defendant. 1. In general. When a sentence of imprisonment is pronounced, or when th sentence consists of a fine and the court has directed that the defendant be imprisoned until it is satisfied, the defendant must forthwith be committed to the custody of the appropriate public servant and detained until the sentence is complied with.

No creo que sea lo mas exacto, quiza "Custodia del Acusado"
