    Hello fellow translators :)

I am translating a document (EN>SP) and this paragraph relates to how injured people assume some attitudes toward their families and friends.

The sentence where this word appears is:
No one wants to be perceived as a whiner or complainer, so keeping a “stiff upper lip” and “biting the bullet” are fairly ingrained values.

My try (in Colombian Spanish) for this word would be "quejetas" but I am not sure if this is understood at a general Latin-American level, considering that my audience come from various Latin-American countries

I would really appreciate your feedback,

    Thanks in advance

Quejicoso puede ser también una opción.

How are you translating 'whiner' then? If you are already using 'quejetas' for 'complainer'?

    (I say 'quejica')

Graaaaaaaacias! y Feliz Navidad! :)
