I'm having some problems translating this phrase:

Copia de comprobante de ingresos de la persona responsable de los pagos.

Some context: this is a list of requirements to be admitted in a retirement institution.

My try: Copy of --income receipts-- of the person responsible for the fees/payments.

    Suggestions, please?

The above named "Comprobante de Ingresos" in Mexico is actually called "Comprobante de Pagos y Retenciones". This is a summary document of earnings and deductions, by employer, covering a year or shorter work period, and is filed with your annual tax return.

The closest document to this in the USA is the W-2 form, which is also filed, for each employer, for the entire year or work period.

Other documents, like income receipts, etc., are generally in detail by pay period. What I think you want is summary document.
