    I would largely agree with underhouse:
    I hereby bring to your attention that on ...

    But I'm a little confused by what seems like a mixture of registers - the informal "tu" combined with expressions like "presente comunicazione" and "portare a conoscenza", which I have previously usually seen only in formal contexts.

    Probably just lack of experience on my part :eek:.

    You are right, baldpate: the register of the Italian sentence is formal so one would expect "a sua conoscenza".
