I would like to know which is the expression in english language for the chilean-spanish expression "contrato a plazo fijo". This expression is related to a job contract in which there is a previous agreement about the end of the contract.

    Thanks in advance

Fixed- term contract.

In Chile we use fixed-term contract as opposite to an indefinite term contract. The idea is that it establishes a limit of time fot the tasks and responsibilities.
