Contrato con caracter vinculante

    Hola!
    Necesito traducir en un texto legal, un convenio, la frase: "Este convenio se firma con caracter vinculante por un periodo...."

    No sé si podría ser "This is a binding agreement contract for a 2 years period..."
    Si alguien me puede dar alguna idea mejor, o corregir ésta, muchas gracias!

    "Agreement" es torpe. "Contract" es suficiente.

    Ah, my Spanish is not very good yet. I hope that made sense.
