    hola Collyoneill,
BILL: " A written document certifying that the ownership of something has been transferred by sale" Espero que eso te ayude :)

I would guess from the text that it's probably a contract of sale. However, if you could give us a little more of the context, it may be helpful to clarify what type of bill is being described (bill of sale, or just a bill).

    Thanks,

    Rogelio

in that case it probably is the Bill of Sale, which may have included some details as to who has to deal with the problems. That would be my guess.
    Hope that helps,
    :)

I think that the correct transalation would be "Bill of Sale" which is the legal document reporting a sale with its details and issued by the seller to the purchaser. So I'd say: "When he comes, he should bring the bill of sale of the house"

    HI!

    I would say "Purchase agreement".

    Bye.

My understanding of "contrato de compraventa" is that it refers to rent-to-own agreements or in legalese, real estate installment contracts. Has anyone ever heard different vocabulary for these type of contracts? Thanks!
