cest quoi la translation du mot coriace/ whats the tranlation of the french word coriace
tough (i.e. referring to someone's personality, or to a piece of meat perhaps )
hi, this is my first post. You could also say "tenacious" or "unbending" . Any context ?
Hi Rodger and welcome to the forum
You can also use "dur a cuire" to mean "Coriace". As in: C'est un "dur a cuire". That'd be in English: he's a "tough" guy.
Note Mind it, the 'a' in the sentence is supposed to have an 'accent grave' on it but I just don't know how to put one using a QWERTY keyboard.
Viande coriace: une viande comme du cuir
Un homme coriace en affaire : un homme dur qu' il est pratiquement impossible de faire changer d' avis .
Separate names with a comma.
