    Hola, estoy traduciendo esto y tengo una duda respecto a council:

    Your local council should have a written policy on their methods of helping people with disabilities and the sort of services they provide, so you may be interested to read it to verify that they are indeed sticking to their word.

    El autor del libro es británico, mi duda es si en Argentina council ¿pude ser municipalidad?

    I think in England, Scotland and Wales, the council(s) exist in each county. They have responsibilities for Housing, Education, Welfare etc.
    So, in America it would be a county department. Education department etc.

    I have no idea how Spanish speaking countries handle those functions or name those entities.
