    Hi!

I need to find the meaning of the expression "creepy crawling" associated with Charles Manson.
Could it be a synonym for 'breaking and entering'?

    Thanks.

"creepy crawly" refers to something or someone that is unsettling and disturbing, causing one to be uneasy or to "get the shivers." It's often used to refer to monsters, insects, and "things that go bump in the night." It will be bandied about a lot as Halloween approaches.

Figuratively, "crawly" is a synonym of "creepy." In their literal meanings, both "craw" and "creep" refer to motion characteristic of something unpleasant, like a "crawling bug" or when someone "creeps up on you."
