In spite of this, nobody seems to have come up with an English translation. I propose "Redundancy support agreement" - can anyone think of a better? The definition is:
(Source: CCI Essonne website.)

What little I've seen of it on the English net (understandable, it's a French program) seems to agree with your 'Redundancy support agreement"

I really like "redundancy support agreement" another possibility would be to refer to an "outplacement services agreement": according to Wikipedia outplacement services are intended by a downsizing company to assist their employees transition to different jobs by career guidance, skills evaluation, tips on resume writing, etc.
    HR-speak is so arbitrary.

    Some other possibilities might be:

    Re-employment support agreement
    Job search assistance agreement
