    What does this mean? No context, I just saw it on a Spanish language Facebook group about annoying words and phrases.

    Ahhhh, thank you. So is it very common, or is it just some weird hyper-euphemistic word? Mostly around here people just say 'hacerse de ban~o'.

    It's a euphemistic expression. I've heard it mostly from grandmothers and medical personnel. Go figure!

    A pesar de lo escatológico - y no me refiero a la vida de ultratumba, precisamente - del tema, siento que es mi deber aportar mis conocimientos (no muy amplios) sobre el tema:

    En España se usa un giro eufemístico similiar: "hacer de(l) cuerpo" o "ir de cuerpo".
