    Hi,

I'm trying to translate the expression used in Spanish when a reduced number of people gather and just pass the ball randomly or kick the ball to the goal. In Spanish we use the expression 'dar unos toques'.

The most accurate translation I'd give is 'kick the ball'. Is there another expression more commonly used for this?

¿Que te parece "Have a kick around with the ball"?

    Saludos, t.

Gracias por la pornta respuesta, supongo que lo mas obvio. En español también se puede der 'darle unas patadas' al balón para pasar el rato

Depende si buscas la frase en inglés británico o estadounidense, kickabout se usa en UK
