I'm looking for some help here. I know that this means, "From right to left" in a literal sense, but the translation dosen't fit the context it's comming from at all, really. Is there a better way to interpret this, or is it some kind of familier expression I don't know about?

If you would like some context examples, just let me know.

    Merci d'avance

With no context, it is hard to help, CF101. Can you give a full sentence and/or the context that you are looking at?

Ah, I apologize. It's a rock song about someone obsessed with what their mirror tells them of their appearance (think Snow White). Here are the surrounding lines.

    Je ne me soucie guère,
De droite à gauche, je te dédaigne,
    Mes regards fendent l'air,
Dans ces éclats moi je me baigne,

Possibly, "I despise you from corner to corner"? I'm not sure, but then again, that's why I'm asking for help. :p
