My house is the building in front - mi casa es el edificio de en frente or mis casa el edificio de a frente?
    Or neither of the above

    Thanks for help!

Hello and welcome to the forum, Zzillla.

En el edificio de enfrente (en frente is correct but not so used nowadays).

De a frente is not right. In some LAm countries, they use al frente (= enfrente).

    Saludos.

Thanks for responses, but I'm still uncertain.
Are both en frente and enfrente correct?

Yes, and they mean the same thing. But nowadays enfrente is preferred and what is commonly used.
