    Hi everyone,

I'd like to know what could be the best way to type the header of covering letter to a company.

I know this... Dear Mr and Mrs... Is it correct?

I'd appreciate if anyone could help me.

    Cheers (Gracias)

Cover letter is the term, not "covering letter."

    Opening should be:
If letter is addressed to a man.... Dear Mr. (Last name):
If letter is addressed to a woman .... Dear Ms. (last name):
If you don't have the name of a contact person, the opening should be:
    Dear Sirs:

    or

    To Whom It May Concern:

At the end of the letter, your closing should be:

    Sincerely,
(Sign your name with a pen)
    (Type your full name)

    Muchas Gracias

I agree with all the possibilities that you mentioned on your reply. However, I'd like to know if it doesn't know the contact person, it's possible as well the term "Dear Mr and Ms" "Dear Mr/Ms"

    Cheers buddy

By the way, for the ending, what would it be better "Your sincerely" or "Yours faithfully"?

    Thx again dude

No te hace falta "yours faithfully" o "yours sincerely".

    Saludos
