How can I translate this sentence? It's a decree.

Prohíbese la explotación de manglares en áreas que no fueren delimitadas por la Dirección General de Desarrollo Forestal.

Here's my attempt: The exploitation of the mangroves not geographically limited by the General Office of Forest Development is prohibited.

I don't understand the part about being "delimitadas" at all.

Anybody who can help me, please?

    :) Thanks in advance!

    Consider this version:

The commercial exploitation of mangroves is prohibited outside those areas defined by the Office of Forest Development.

maggieb, I had another thought later, that designated is better than defined but wasn't able to edit my post.
