Delivery insurance value

    Hola,

    Estoy llenando un formato para aplicar como proveedor autorizado para la fabricación de letreros de una empresa, y el formato a llenar pide indicar cuál es el DELIVERY INSURANCE VALUE.

    Podrían decirme cuál es la traducción? No tengo más contexto que la relación de seguros que nos piden confirmemos si tenemos, tales como:

    - insurance value
    - delivery insurance value

    En el caso de delivery insurance value podrá ser la póliza de transporte?

    Pienso que es valor declarado de la mercancía cuando se envía

    Creo que se refiere al valor de seguro al entrega.

    I do not understand. Do you mean "al entregar"? And what would this be?

    Normally the insurances are taken when you deliver the merchandise at the forwarder warehouse or the transport company warehouse. The insurance is normally taken as the the declared value as per the invoice. You have to show a copy of the invoice for this.

    If the forwarder picks up the goods at your own warehouse/factory, then you can contract a door to door insurance, but this does not seem to be the case.

    At least it works like this with international shipment, something I have been doing for a while.

    But it may be simpler or different for non-expo cargo.
