    Hi all,

I'm not sure dedans is the right word here and I'm also unsure about supplementaire. Does this give the wrong impression? Like extra effects rather than further effects?

This chapter introduces further effects that have been attributed to globalisation and delves deeper into the root causes of these problems. It also looks at examples that show France in a rather hypocritical light, and brings into question the apparent French distain for globalization.

    Merci d'avance

    Hello Njb17,

Perhaps 'rechercher plus profondément/efficacement' might be a good translation.

    What do you think?

I have used in the above suggestion creuse en profondeur. My actual problem though was with dedans and supplementaire. Could you maybe re-read my post and see what you think?

    Thanks v much

I think there are several possibilities but the easiest way would be to simply omit "dedans." Not sure though.

Actually, now that I look at it again, I think you should use "dans." I hope a native speaker would help out because I'm always curious about these finer points. :)

Hi njb17, here is a possible translation for your text:

Hope it helps! ps, I'm a native.

    Hi there,

I know this thread is old, but "pénètre encore plus" - could be another translation
