Good afternoon again: still on the Peruvian mining rights contract.

The text describes how the mining rights may be allowed to lapse and then in typically legal terminology go to the "hereinafter referred to as "LOS DERECHOS MINEROS A EXTINGUIRSE".

My problem is how to translate this into something understandable in AE and have so far been unable to come up with anything that sounds reasonable. Could anyone please give me a hand?

  2. Hi pal, how you doing?

"Los derechos mineros a extinguirse" = "the mining rights to be extinguished"

    Best regards from Spain.

    Great thanks.

That's exactly what I finally came up with in the wee small hours of this morning. Thanks for your confirmation.:)
