I would say (high school) diploma

liceo (as secondary school) = high school
liceo (as other cultural association, in relation with the greek LYKEION) = lyceum

    bye :)

    Hi,

I am translating my CV into English, and I was wondering about the entry: Year XXX - Diploma di Maturità presso il Liceo XXX.
Can you say, High School Diploma at 'Liceo XXX'? Is there a better way to put it?

    EDIT:
I have found another thread on this forum where someone asked wether graduate carries at or from http://forum.wordreference.com/showthread.php?t=1398779
The answer there is that you say, You graduate from a School. Should I therefore say High School Diploma from 'Liceo XXX'?

    Thank you for your help.

Do you prefer AE or BE?:)

AE. I graduated from an Italian High School (name of school in Italian) in 2001

In GB you don't graduate from a secondary school, only from a university.;)

BE. I was awarded my high school diploma at (name of school) in 2001.

Da dire che non diciamo high school diploma in BE, ma se scrivi "I took my A-Levels in..." potrebbero pensare che hai veramente conseguito qualche titolo di studio inglese, per cui un vaghissimo high school diploma va meglio anche in BE (secondo me).;)
