I just want to know what is the most usual or accurate word to express that someone or people from some country or social group is cold ...when
it comes to relationships : i.e : La gente de . . . son distantes , no se comunican demasiado ".
    My try : "People from . . . are usually aloof ". "He´s aloof man " . Or is
    better use distant ?
I do not have any context as it is just something I was wondering.

    Thanks all .....
