Domiciliar la nómina en una cuenta bancaria

    que quieres decir con "domiciliar", abrir una cuenta?

    Si es así, "open a bank account for the payroll"

    "direct deposit", Automatic deposit of wages or benefits, such as pension or social security, into a consumer's bank account. Direct deposits are processed through an Automated Clearing House.

    I think this topic is very interesting. The banking terms on many occasions fail to correct translation into Spanish, and therefore can generate many problems that can cause some annoying bugs.

    Domiciliar la nómina en una cuenta bancaria would best be translated (in US English) as to establish (frml) or set up (infrml) payroll direct deposit.

    Hi @verybody: 'domiciliar' en este caso significa que una empresa es autorizada hacer transferencias / retrios / cobros automáticamente sin la actividad del librado (drawee) como en el caso de servicios públicos etc. Translation: 'payment by direct debit or mandate.....'

    me voy a relativar: en este caso será según la sugerencia de Literatus. Pero también existe la definición para "domiciliar" que acabo de describir....

    Teatom tiene razón. "Domiciliar" puede ser tanto para depósitos o retiros. En inglés sería: "direct deposit" o "direct debit". También puede ser "automatic deposit/withdrawal".
