This acronym appears in a medical report about someone who has suffered a rectal prolapse, specifically in the beginning of the section describing the rectopexy procedure as follows:

Intervencion: [date] General. DS. Litotomia modificada.

On researching of medical acronyms I think this refers to "decubito supino" describing the position of the patient during the operation. Can anyone advise if this is likely to be correct?

Agree. DS stands for Decubito Supino. "Litotomia modificada" is a variety of this Decubito Supino.
