    Hi,

Anybody have any ideas how to translate "dudoso respeto infundibular" in the following sentence:

"..... con dudoso respeto infundibular sobre el nacimiento de la raiz raquidea izquierda de L5"

    Thank you for your help!

    My best guess.

"...doubtful in regards to infundibular origen of left L5 nerve root".

That is how I would read it also, but I don't think that translation makes sense from the perspective of medical imaging. The body has several structures with names that include "infundibulum" or "infundibular" but I don't recall any that have a relationship to the lumbar nerve roots. I'll be the first to admit that I have forgotten some of the details of neuroanatomy but even now as I try to research the question I don't find anything. I have not been able to find a good definition for the Spanish word "infundibular" and that complicates things but I wonder if the original Spanish text actually makes sense both grammatically and anatomically?

    It's certainly a tough one.
    Seeing entire original might help.
