¿Cuál es el significado de esta palabra?

    Contexto:

    2. Cargo de ecónomo.
    3. Territorio jurisdiccional de un ecónomo.
There's a monolanguage dictionary on this site (which links to the DRAE) and it has much more words than the Spanish-English/English-Spanish dictionaries.

I heard at the office economato as the desk materials: paper, pencils, pens, clips, fasteners and so... but, looking at the DRAE, it seems they were not as accurate as I thought...

I would suggest "commissariat", thinking of the type of supply store the US army has for its personnel abroad.

I've found post exchange, abbreviated as PX.

It's a company store, where workers buy products at a cheaper price. Also used in the military.
