عقبال فرحك ونردها لك في الافراح

How one can say the above in English?

More context: واحد راح لصديقه ليهنئه بزواجه, واحضر معه بوكيه ورد فكان رد صديقه ما اشرت اليه

I don't know how the English might say this :) لا أعتقد أن لديهم رد مشابه لما ذكرت

A translation of the whole phrase (Assuming I am understanding it correctly) may be:

"May you be similarly fortunate at your wedding celebration and may we return it (the kindness) at [other] happy occasions."

However, that exact phrase would most likely not be said to a person, since, unlike Arabic, English has very few formulaic expressions used at weddings or other similar occasions.

In English, responses to expressions of congratulations or good wishes are usually pretty simply. Often, the response is just a simple "thank you."
