    Need helpp.. Going to the military and would like this saying for a tattoo in Ancient Greek in Caps .. either with my shield or on it.

    How about: ἢ σὺν τῇ ἀσπίδι μου ἢ ἐπ’αὐτῇ ?

    Yes. ΤΑΝ Ή ΕΠΙ ΤΑΣ. (There is no "H" in front).
    Notice that due to "laconism" (avoidance of unnecessary words), the word "shield" is not there! The Spartan mother gives the shield to her son going to war and says literally: "(Bring back) this or (come back) on this".
