Is this title is grammatically correct?

"Elaboration and physical and mechanical characterization of metallic thread?

You need a pause after 'elaboration', a comma at least.

On the other hand, I'm not sure about your vocabulary. You know that elaboration doesn't mean manufacture?

    Thank you Keith,

Yes I know, in fact we have produce the metallic thread using an especial way for scientific research goals in our laboratory. So I have to use the word "elaboration".
You think a comma should be replaced by the first and?
Could you please tell me if "Elaboration and physical and mechanical characterization of metallic thread" is totally wrong?
