Hello, this is my first question and post in a forum, so I hope someone will be able to help me.

I am translating the termly reports for young children in the Early Years Foundation Stage and need to find a Spanish (in Spain) translation for the following terms to describe children's progress:

Emerging (this means they are still developing skills in this area and have not yet mastered them. Implied indirectly is that they are not achieving as much as is generally expected but this may be due to immaturity and not an indication of ability)

    [...]

I could put it in the format "Progress: Emerging (or Expected or Exceeding)" or in a sentence such as "Juan still needs to develop skills this area/Juan is progressing as expected in this area/Juan's progress has exceeded expectations in this area."

Thank you very much in advance for all your help!
