    Hello,

How would you say "encausado" in English? It's in a legal context. Thanks in advance.

No soy especialista, pero es el acusado, al que se le inicia una causa.

If my memory still works, the "encausado" is the charged person.

Depende de el contexto. Si lo usas solo, se refiere a al Acusado. pero si lo usas, en tipo "puedes ser encausado" entonces se puede referir a "he can be prosecuted"

    Saludos
