    Hello,

After we have introduced someone to somebody else, we say: How do you do! and the answer is the same How do you do!

    How about in German?
As far as I know, after we have introduced somebody to someone else, we say: Es freut mich, Sie kennenzulernen! And the answer is...........? So how do I answer?

    1. Es freut mich auch, (Sie kennenzulernen).
    2. Es freut mich ebenso, (Sie kennenzulernen)

By the way your German sentence means "Nice/Pleased to meet you". There's not really a German equivalent of "How do you do".
