    Hello everyone,
I'm trying to say "Es una buena idea que vengas a España este verano".
My attempt: "It's a good idea for you to come to Spain this summer".
It also came to my mind "it's a good idea that you come...", but it doesn't sound good to me...
Can anybody help me? Thank you!

Both your versions are possible. However, although the second is correct use of the subjunctive, it is not at all idiomatic in modern English.

I prefer "It's a good idea for you to come to Spain this summer".

This is still not perfectly idiomatic but we would need more context in order to come up with the best version.

Is this said to a friend? a business associate?

    Could you set the scene?

Tienes razón, muy bien. El segundo es muy literal, y no lo diríamos así.

For me, it seems more idiomatic as "It would be a good idea for you to come/if you came..."
