El término correcto es "prom party" o solo "prom". ;)

I may be misunderstanding how "fiesta de graduación" is used, but I don't think "prom" is the right word. A prom (which comes from promenade) is a formal dance, and it is held during the school year, not after it is over. Furthermore, there are proms for students who are not even in their last year of school.

I would call this a graduation party. That is what everyone I know calls such parties. Typically, a high school does not hold a graduation party for all its students, and individual students or groups hold their own parties.

In the Latin world, this graduation party is held by the departing senior class after the school year has ended. Usually it is done in late May or early June. It is still a formal dance however. The closest American equivalent would be a prom in my opinion.

In that case, I think it is best to call it a senior prom. However, it should be remembered that American readers might misunderstand this, since it is slightly different in the US, so the context should determine the best translation. That is, it might be best in some contexts to explicitly say "a formal dance held as a graduation party" or something similar. A senior prom (or any other prom) is not directly related to graduation.
