Can you please tell me how to translate this?

The (name company) has carried out a financial audit of (name company) in June 2001.

    My attempt:

    Thanks in advance;)

Audit finanziario va bene secondo me ma preferirei svolgere piuttosto che realizzare. Che ne dici? :)

    Preposizione:
    audit per un ente
    audit di/su un campo

    Madrelingua? :)

I am a little perplexed why the Italian elite insists on using English words (often mispronounced) when they have their own

I think it makes sense to use imported words when it comes to new technologies, computers and internet instead of doing like the French insisting on coming up with new words in your own language. But when the elite tries to show off by selecting English words on the television/radio in lieu of Italian ones they just sound silly.

When it comes to old words more or less the same in Italian and English it is a pretty safe bet they are derived from Latin.
