Flores (en un florero)

    Quiero decir en inglés: Cogí muchas flores para ponerlas en un florero.

    I picked a lot of flowers to put them in a vase.

    ¿Está bien así?

    Yo diría 'to put in a vase'.

    Sounds good, although both the Spanish and the English make it sound as if putting the flowers in a vase was the purpose of picking the flowers, when actually it was just a secondary action. I would say:

    I picked a lot of flowers and put them in a vase. (Cogí muchas flores y las puse en un florero.
