    Avete qualche suggerimento?
    Grazie

    Io userei "Art Photography Show/Exhibition".

Hi there, I'd like to pick up this thread for "foto d'autore".
I have to say, the threads listed above are not much help really - they all give different possibilities (designer, auteur, by renowned/famous people, personalised...).

My context is a booklet I'm translating about the local area and the sentence is:

Is it just photos by famous photographers? In which case, do we even have a term in English for this?
Should I just say "with photos by well-known photographers"?
    Thanks for any comments,
    Anglo

    Hi Paul,
yes, I saw that one and they came up with "auteur film" and then "Art film" - neither of which can be used for photos! At least I don't think so!!
They also suggest director's original film so maybe "photographer's original photos"?
    Boh, I'm none the wiser!!
    Thanks anyway,
    Anglo
