FR: I would be camping there

    Need help with tenses in a contrary to fact condition sentence. This is in response to someone who complained of having waited for several hours to enter a venue. I am saying that they should be grateful for the opportunity no matter how long a wait, and that, if I were them, I would have given anything for a chance to get in, and would have waited as long as necessary.
    English: I would be camping there for as long as needed for a mere chance to get in.
    My try: Je y aurais fut du camping […].
