FR: I'm glad that it went well

    I'm not sure how to find an answer to this grammar question in the WR grammar forums. I'd just like to simply say that I'm glad that my friend's vacation went well. Here's how I think I would say it in French:

    Je suis content que les vacances se soient bien passées pour toi et ta famille.

    Help with either of these questions would be greatly appreciated (the first question being how to query grammar questions like this).
