    Bonjour

I am describing the style of an artist, and I would like to say that "her paintings feature flowers in bright colours". I'm mostly having trouble with the last part of the sentence. Is the following a good translation?

"Ses peintures représentent des fleurs en couleurs vives."

    Merci d'avance!

I would rather go for: "Ses peintures représentent des fleurs aux couleurs vives."
It is not a literal translation, but it is the article that is most often used for paintings.
