Geisterbahn vs Geisterzug

    Can you please tell me if there is a difference (in meaning) between those two words?

    I'd say that a Geisterzug is not only empty, but is rolling out of control (and probably without driver and going into the wrong direction).

    I thank you all for your replies, but I'm still not certain of the right word to use when I'm referring to a phantom vehicle in the form of a locomotive or train, Geisterbahn oder Geisterzug?
