    Hola, por favor me puedes ayudar con este término que aparece dentro de un contrato de adquirencia. La traducción literal podría ser Eventos Generales Desencadenados, pero no me suena que se refiera a eso. Copio el párrafo donde aparece la definición:
    General Triggering Event – Any of the following shall be a General Triggering Event:
    (a) the occurrence of an Insolvency Proceeding;
    (b) excepting transactions as to which Member shall have given its prior written consent, the merger, consolidation or amalgamation of Merchant or entry by Merchant into any analogous reorganization, amalgamation or transaction with any unaffiliated corporation, company or other entity or as a result of which Merchant is not the surviving entity;...
    Agradecida de antemano... :)

    Un "triggering event" es un "event that triggers something". Es decir, "un hecho que da lugar a algo".

    Diría "Hecho Determinante"
