    Hello everyone,

    I'd like to translate the sentences :
    [...]
    Ghosts crowd the young child's fragile eggshell mind" (A very recurring theme in Jim Morrison's songs)

    If you don't know Morrison at all, here is the context :

    In fact, I'm not looking for a perfect translation, but I just want to figure out how I could express the same thing in French, keeping the same register. I can't find a good way to translate "eggshell" (coquille d'oeuf ?) [...]
    Here's an attempt :

    "Des indiens éparpillés (épars) saignant sur l'autoroute de l'aube / sur l'autoroute saignante de l'aube ...

    les fantômes pressent (??) le fragile esprit (eggshell ?) du jeune enfant. "

    ça n'irai pas? Je sais que ça fait beaucoup de complément du nom, mais on a toutes les infos là.

    Fantômes perdant leur sang qui se glissent dans l'esprit du jeune enfant fragile comme une coquille d'oeuf.

    Je dirais des fantômes hantent la fragile coquille de l'esprit de l'enfant.

    For me, the indians are bleeding. Even for J. Morrison, it doesn't make sense.
