I know good night is either bonne nuit or bon soir.
    But what is the difference?

    Is it
    bonne nuit = good evening
    bon soir = good night?

    Merci d'avance

    It's the opposite:

    Bonne nuit = good night
Bonsoir (in one word) = good evening
