Hello everybody, I'd like to know what "gritty voice" mean in spanish...I was reading about an actor and it says something like this:

    Trade Mark

    Hard, gritty voice.
    A tough guy character.

I tought "voz arenosa" but it doesn't mean anything. Would it be something like "deep voice"? Thank you in advanced.

    Greetings, Logan.

    Hi!

I would say "voz rasgada", for instance, like Joe Cocker's.

    Hope it helps.

    Saludos,

    Esther
