    Hi there!

Could you please give a hand with "huaches"? Context (just focus on bold letters):

    (...)

NB: Huachi(es) or guachi.
    See picture here.

    My attempts (options):

    c) (...) Notwithstanding the aforementioned, rope necklaces ("huaches") will be excepted from this standard if the capture or hunting refer to rabbits and hares.
    c) (...) Notwithstanding the aforementioned, lassos ("huaches") will be excepted from this standard if the capture or hunting refer to rabbits and hares.

    or more descriptive:
    c) (...) Notwithstanding the aforementioned, long ropes with a sliding noose ("Huaches") will be excepted from this standard if the capture or hunting refer to rabbits and hares.

    Thanks for any help.

    This is called a "snare".

"Notwithstanding the foregoing, this rule does not apply to the use of snares for catching or hunting rabbits and hares."
