    Hello everyone!!

I need to know if it's correct to say:

"La ciudad ha sido cuna de civilizaciones a través de los siglos"

"The city has been a cradle of the civilizations through the centuries"

Thank you in advance ;) ;)

You´ve got no answer yet, so I´ll try. I´d say ´a cradle of civilizations´ without ´the´. And ´for centuries´, but I suppose yours (through/throughout) is fine too.

Wait for other answers, please. Un saludo.
