    Hi guys,

Is there any way, not vulgar, to say "hacer la pelota" in English? For example, "a ti todo el mundo te hace la pelota". I have translated this as "everybody kisses your ass" but the problem is that the company which I work for is against that sentence, because it has some "vulgarity" in it.

Any other way of saying that?

    Thanks in advance.

    To butter someone up.
    To flatter someone.
    To fawn on/upon someone.
    To play up to someone.
To try to (get/stay) on someone's good side.

    Wow!

I didn't expect such an answer! Now I have a lot to choose from.

    Thanks!

    Another informal version is:

"Everyone's always sucking up to you", or
"You've (always) got everyone sucking up to you"

This is definitely a common way to say it, but in terms of vulgarity I think it approaches "kissing your ass/arse". It's not as bad as "licking your ass/arse", though. :D
One more, on the vulgar side (don't use it, Zackiii!): to brown-nose someone.

Otra expresión formal para "hacer la pelota a" puede ser "to pander to".

    Y curry favour/favor with someone.

It comes from brushing a horse, nothing to do with Indian cuisine.
