    Hi Everybody,
Can somebody please explain this line to me? I was reading TLC no scrubs' lyrics and I just didn't get the meaning/the implications of it.
    These are the verses:
A scrub is a guy that can't get no love from me
    Hangin out the passenger side
    Of his best friends ride
    tryin to holla at me

    this is my translation:
uno "scrub"(strofinaccio non mi suona bene) è un ragazzo che non può ottenere/ricevere amore da me
sedendo/divertendosi sul posto del passeggero(is it right???)
della macchina dei loro migliori amici
che tentano di provarci con me

Anyway excuse me, if you find them offensive or impolite; I didn't write them I'm just eager to know about their meaning.
    Thank you in advance

I think "hanging out" is meant quasi-literally here. The "scrub" has stuck his head and more out of the passenger-side window of his friend's car (perhaps like this ;)) to "holler" at the singer.

Un perdente è uno con cui non ci starei mai che si sporge dal finestrino dell'auto del suo migliore amico e che comunque ci prova con me.

    Più o meno!
