Hello, I've never been able to say correctly when I have to speak about something referring to that person themselves..for example: I know the simple reflexive form. But what I mean is how or when would I use for exampel the word se`? For example: He has a long day ahead of him I would say in Italian, although I never felt it was correct - (ha una lunga giornata davanti a lui) - although wrong, it was understood what I meant. I think in proper Italian you would say "ha davanti e se` una lunga giornata". Then I heard at a restaurant with Italians that everyone was paying for themsleves - "paga per se" or something like that was said. So when do I use the se`? How is it used? What if I'm speaking about "them" instead of "him\her", would I still use Se`? Thanks!
